Surrender Some Fun In iSiege: Nuclear Option

April 11, 2012

iSiege: Nuclear Option ($1.99) by Pew Pew Entertainment is an artistically pleasing warfare game. Do you recall playing the classic PC game called Pocket Tanks? This game is similar to that classic game. In other words, it's a whole lot of fun and you'll want to get it for your iOS device as soon as possible.

The object of the game is to take turns firing off tanks, artillery, and ICBM's (missles) in hopes of destroying your opponent's capital. Strategy plays a huge factor in this game considering it's a turn-based style genre. Plan ahead and use some brain cells to outsmart your opponent and leave his pieces in the dust.

The game comes with three game modes to keep you coming back for more. You can fight against a computer based opponent in single player, take on a friend over multiplayer, or do the old fashioned pass and play method. The choice is yours.

Think you're too good for the computer? Crank up the difficulty and see how well you fare now! It poses quite a challenge.

The gameplay is very fast-paced due to the timer that gives you roughly five seconds to select and launch your attack. So, there is constant action throughout each game session.

You will be able to unlock achievements and boost your score in Game Center by defeating opponents, shooting off nuclear strikes, and landing combo attacks. Let your score do the talking, while you do the walking. The game also keeps track of your win-loss record and your accuracy percentage.

Sadly, when launching the game, it states that the iSiege: Nuclear Option cannot be recognized by Game Center. Hopefully an update will fix this sooner than later.

The graphics and sound effects really spice this game up. The cartoon-like appeal and constant explosions really bring this arcade game to life.

Make sure to get this game. It's fun, fast paced, and action packed. With the ability to play multiplayer, the hours logged into this game can be endless. The only downfall is that Game Center does not seem to be working at the moment, but that's not a deal breaker.

UPDATE: It seems iSiege has been pulled from the App Store, though, we're not sure why. Maybe the Game Center issues? Thanks to topofall for the heads up!
