Beyond EA, there are few companies currently developing for the iOS platform that show a greater dedication to creating great sporting titles than Distinctive Developments. Distinctive Developments is the team behind popular titles Hockey Nations 2011 Pro and Football Kicks.
Today sees the release of Distinctive Developments latest title, Downhill Xtreme (FREE). The developer has also, kindly, created a short trailer for the game, to give you a taste of what to expect from Downhill Xtreme:

Downhill Xtreme is the App Store's first longboard racing title. Throughout your time in the game, you will race through various exotic locations. The game also features some unique gameplay types, from standard Medal Events, to Online Events and "... winner-take-all, renegade style Outlaw Events."
While Downhill Xtreme is free to download and play, it does feature the now standard freemium model found in many new games. You can earn money through the various race modes, or you can just buy some, through an in-app purchase, to give yourself a boost. The money can be used to buy various new outfits and boards that will improve your character's stats and give you an advantage online.
Downhill Xtreme's impressive graphics, pumping soundtrack and unlockable content make this a fun little game if you want a quick racing fix.
