Bowling Paradise makes it bowling night in different fantastical lands. Bowl on the beach, roll down a slope, or send gutter balls into the void of outer space. It’s certainly a different experience than your run-of-the-mill bowling alley. Different customizations are available as well, including outlandish ball and pin designs.
The developer has updated the game since its release in February. Some of the graphics have been enhanced, as well as an improvement on responsiveness. These changes were based on feedback from those who purchased the app.
So do the updates work?
The game definitely feels less stubborn than when I first took a look at it. Dealing with the amount of graphics and models involved in this game can definitely tax your iDevice quickly, though the updates seem to alleviate this. Selecting a location from the menu still isn’t quite as responsive, but overall, the updates are a step in the right direction.
