Marvel Entertainment And ComiXology Announce Multi-Year Digital Deal

Marvel Entertainment announced today they would exclusively distribute single issue English-language digital comics worldwide with comiXology, the largest provider of digital comics. As part of the multi-year agreement, Marvel fans will enjoy continued access to single-issue digital comics via the Marvel Comics app for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad, as well as the new Web-based Marvel Comics Shop, both powered by comiXology.
In addition, starting today, Marvel’s digital comics will be available through comiXology’s Digital Storefronts for brick-and-mortar retailers.
