New AppList: Apps For The Deaf And Hard Of Hearing

Do you know someone who is hard of hearing or deaf? Are you suffering from hearing loss? The ability to hear properly affects us profoundly. Many cues are audible, such as a crying child, smoke alarm, whistling tea pot, or car horn. Important pieces of conversations can be missed making communication strained. We found some great apps that were designed for those living with hearing loss and are excited to share them. Check out this list which let an iPhone listen, interpret, and much more!
It should be noted that, at this time, we have omitted any apps that provide subtitles in movie theaters. Each one that we tested failed to work properly despite numerous tries. If updated to function as intended, we will be more than happy to add a caption app for use at the cinema.
