Rock(s) Rider ($2.99) by ECA-Games will be the game to give you an adrenaline boost while playing. Whether you’re a dirt bike fanatic or just looking for a fun game to play, this will provide you with the perfect amount of excitement. The soundtrack is pumped up, the engines are roaring, and it’s time to rock and roll!
Quick tip: For the best audio experience, plug in those headphones and feel the adrenaline.
Suit up in your protective gear, strap on your helmet, and get ready for the ride. In this game, you will need to take control of a dirt bike rider and get him or her to the finish line in the least amount of time. You will encounter various obstacles, jumps, pits, and paths on your ride to the checkered flag. Find the perfect groove in the track to beat your best scores. During your race to the finish line, you will be able to pull off tricks like backflips, which will excite the crowd and reward you with cash to spend in the game store. Don’t rotate too much or you’ll be paying a trip to the local medical clinic.
Evel Kneivel will be so proud of your dare devil acrobatics.
There are over 30 standard levels that come with the original purchase. More are coming in a future update as well. You will be able to complete certain achievements and view the local leaderboards via Game Center. Unlock enough stuff in this game and you’ll be granted the ability to race a Trike (three-wheeled dirt bike). It’s an exciting twist.
While racing through the levels, you will have nine different control schemes you can utilize for your right and left hands. You can use virtual buttons or really challenge yourself with the accelerometer tilt controls.
The Retina display graphics are awesome and the rock-pumping soundtrack is perfect for this game. The production gets a thumbs up in my opinion.
With gas prices consistently rising, this may be a perfect alternative for some of you to get your dirt bike fix. The graphics are great, the soundtrack is superb, and the gameplay is pure adrenaline. Go pick this up and meet me on the track. I’ll be in the blue gear.
