A Chance To Win Runmeter For iPhone

June 1, 2012
We've teamed up with Abvio in order to offer you a chance to win one of 20 promo codes for their powerful exercise tracking app, Runmeter ($2.99). When people ask me what one app I can't live without, the answer I always come up with is Runmeter. It hasn't once left my iPhone's home page since I first installed it way back in early 2010. There certainly are a lot of reasons for that, including the fact that the team at Abvio have worked tirelessly over the past two years keeping Runmeter's feature set ahead of the pack, but the one that stands out the most is that it's entirely iPhone-centric. Runmeter doesn't require you to login to a website to view or share your progress, map your route, or take a look back at your history. Everything is always right there on your iPhone. The app includes all of the primary features you would come to expect from an exercise tracking app, like distance traveled, time taken, calories burned, average pace, current elevation, etc., and allows you to look over them anytime, anywhere. The interface is fully customizable, so you can have it highlight only the information you care about. If you swipe your finger across the screen, you can quickly access all kinds of recent data in chart form and control your music. You can also dig deep into your exercise past and view every last detail via the History tab. If you're in a sharing mood, you can have updates posted to Facebook, Twitter, and dailymile, or just send them out to friends and family via email. Your friends can respond to your posts and Runmeter will read their replies out loud while you're exercising. You can also export and share your entire workout history via email. But that's only scratching the surface of what Runmeter has to offer. It's loaded with a ton of other great features like custom training programs, notes, the ability to track and compare routes, 120 different announcements, automatic stop detection, remote control using your earphones, and the ability to import data. So, are you ready to get fit? To have a chance at winning one of five Runmeter promo codes, simply retweet this article before 11:59 p.m. PDT tonight (June 1). We will then search the Twitterverse for all of the retweets and randomly choose our lucky winners. The winners will be notified via Twitter, so please be sure to follow us so we can send you your promo code via a direct message. Non-Twitter users and those of you who want to increase your odds of winning can leave a relevant comment below before 11:59 p.m. PDT tonight to have a chance at winning one of the other 15 promo codes. Feel free to participate in the giveaway via either or both methods. Only one entry per person per method is allowed, totaling up to two entries per person if using both.
