AirPlay Mirroring is no longer for your iDevice only. Today, Apple announced the new Mountain Lion OS for your Mac. With it, comes AirPlay Mirroring. Now, you can stream whatever is on your computer straight to your television, without any hacks. It's a simple setup, through your Apple TV.
This is a welcome announcement for those who wish to share their Mac with an audience. Now, you can show a video to your friends, or give a business presentation with wireless ease. You can also stream music, podcasts, and other audio to AirPlay-anabled speakers. As an Apple TV owner, today's announcement made me very happy.
Mountain Lion is set to launch in a month for $19.99.
