Notification Center Coming to Mac

Mountain Lion will add a Notification Center to the Mac, once again strengthening the ties between OS X and iOS. LIke in iOS, Notification Center will integrate with all apps and alert you to changes and updates. It will also pop up alerts on the screen for Mail, Twitter, and Messages, so you never miss a connection. Don't worry about information overload, you can mute notifications if needed! Honestly, it sounds like a cross between Notification Center on iOS and Growl for Mac. We'll update you when we have more.
