The Transparent iPhone Concept
June 18, 2012
We still don’t know with full certainty what the sixth-generation iPhone will look like. Until we do, expect a continued parade of iPhone rumors to leak along with the occasional concept photo or video. Today’s iPhone mockup is perhaps the coolest so far, albeit one that will never see the light of day.
Behold, the transparent iPhone concept, designed by 17-year-old Apple fan Dakota Adney (via CNet.)
Offering what Adney calls an “iClear Retina display,” the handset includes layering text, apps, and games on a clear display.
Additionally, setting the phone down on a flat surface turns on dual projectors that beam a virtual keyboard right in front of you. Here special sensors turn your finger movements into virtual text on the handset.
Take a look:
Don’t care for a transparent iPhone? No worries, as Adney has also created a promotional video for a transparent iPad.
A very cool concept, don't you think?
