Where's My Perry? Combines Two Disney Favorites Into One Fun App
Where's My Perry? ($0.99) by Disney combines the addictive gameplay of Where’s My Water? with the whimsy of the popular cartoon “Phineas and Ferb.” Just follow Perry the Platypus and jump into the sewers to maneuver through the water, helping him reach headquarters in time to save the day.
The game starts out with some simple puzzles that require you to move dirt away with your finger in order to get the water to the pipeline. The water then powers Perry’s pod through the pipes that will carry him to headquarters.
As you move forward in the game, the level of difficulty rises. However, unlike the original Where’s My Water?, this app requires you to maneuver through water in three forms: liquid, steam and ice. These different forms of water make puzzles tricky to solve and require a lot of quick thinking.
Each mission in the game has 20 levels of watery fun. For every level you can earn three garden gnomes. You’ll want to collect as many gnomes as you can because you need them to unlock new missions. For every new mission the number of gnomes needed to play goes up.
The loveable characters of “Phineas and Ferb” make many vocal appearances throughout the game, including Dr. Doofenshmirtz. He will often taunt you throughout the game, especially if you run out of water. The doctor also likes to throw some obstacles in your way in the form of broken pipes and some altered pipes that spew out a few surprises. Black sludge is another surprise you must deal with, however this is one surprise that you can learn to use to your advantage.
Throughout the game you can earn achievements, secret files and doof-inators. Achievements are varied throughout the game, but there are three secret files, and doof-inators per mission. When you collect all of these secret files and doof-inators, you can unlock new levels, secret missions, and even new characters.
Where's My Perry? is great fun with beautiful graphics and interesting, fast-paced gameplay. I had a lot of fun playing my way through the various missions and quickly lost track of time as I became immersed in Perry’s world. This is a great game for children and adults because the levels never get so hard as to frustrate players nor are they too easy that they would bore players. Where’s my Perry? is a great game for the whole family.
