An app developer's life is never easy. One good idea can make or break you, but there's always the chance that somebody else will beat you to the punch. When that happens, you can either go back to square one or you can bravely press on.
Should you choose the latter, it definitely doesn't hurt to use your app to craft a tongue-in-cheek promo about just this sort of situation. That's what Peter Tucker did for his Rage Booth app, the result of which is pretty funny. You know, because it's true.
