Manually Arrange Apps And Widgets In The Notification Center

Whether you’re new to iOS, or just want to pick up some useful tips and tricks, we're here to help. This is iOS Advice. If items in the Notification Center aren't in an order that you like, you may be happy to know that the arrangement of these app alerts and widgets can be customized. To rearrange the apps and widgets in the Notification Center, watch the video or follow the steps below: Step 1: Go into the Settings app on your device and tap on Notifications near the top. Step 2: Make sure Manually is checked, then tap the Edit button in the top right corner. Step 3: Tap and hold the bars that appear to the right of any app or widget below "In Notification Center," and drag it to a desired position in the list. All apps below In Notification Center will appear in the order listed when notifications become available. Any apps listed below "Not In Notification Center" can be moved up into this area as well. You can also organize the Notification Center by time which will chronologically list apps based on recent activity.
