Apple Stock Rises To $700 For First Time In Daily Trading

Thanks to the successful iPhone 5 launch, Apple shares have hit a new milestone. Moments ago, Cupertino’s stock hit $700 for the first time in daily trading. The stock began  the day at $699.78 per share.

Apple's stock first hit the $700 milestone in after-hours trading late yesterday, Sept. 17. Earlier, Apple announced that they sold a record 2 million iPhone 5 units during the first 24 hours of preorders. The sixth generation handset officially launches on Friday, Sept. 21.
