Possible Software Glitch In iOS 6 Restrictions Causes Settings App To Crash

We’ve recently discovered an odd software glitch within the Settings app on the iPhone 5. When we launch the Settings app and quickly navigate to iOS Restrictions within General settings, then swipe to the bottom, the app crashes. Based on several tests, we were able to recreate this glitch by completely closing the Settings app from within the app switcher and repeating the process.
Note: This issue only appears to affect the iPhone 5, but not every iPhone 5 we tested.
Below is a video demonstration of the glitch in action:

During one attempt to recreate the crash, iOS locked up for a second and we were able to capture a screenshot. As you can see in the image above, there is a noticeable difference between the normal layout and the layout created from the glitch.
If you’d like to try and recreate this glitch on your device, quickly follow the steps below:
Step 1: Completely close out of the Settings app in the app switcher.
Step 2: Launch the Settings app, tap on General, then Restrictions and quickly swipe to the bottom of the screen.
If your Settings app crashes, let us know in the comments below.
