Are you getting sick of looking at some of the preinstalled apps on your iOS device's home screen? If so, you may find this new trick very useful. Rag3Hack allows you to hide any stock iOS apps without jailbreaking your device, and it’s completely reversible.
It’s a pretty neat trick and I’ve tried it multiple times on my iOS 5 and iOS 6 devices without any repercussions. Check out our video overview below to see it in action.

Here’s how the process works:
Step 1: Visit www.cydiahacks.com in Safari on your iOS device.
Step 2: Scroll through the list of apps on the site and find the one that you wish to hide.
Step 3: Tap on the row containing an app you’d like to hide. When you see an alert box pop up, tap on “Install.”
Step 4: The installation will fail, but that’s completely normal. When you receive the “Unable to Download Application” failure message, tap on “Done.” The app you’ve selected to hide will now have a gray icon with a loading bar.
Step 5: Next, tap and hold on the gray icon to put it in “jiggle mode,” then tap on the “X” in the top left corner of the app to remove it.
After you’re done with that, you can continue this process to hide as many stock apps as you’d like.
Note: If you attempt to hide the App Store, you will not be able to continue hiding additional apps. If you do plan on hiding the App Store, make sure you hide it last.
Like I said above, this process is completely reversible. Because this method doesn’t require you to jailbreak your device, the apps will reappear in their previous home screen positions when you reboot. If you’re unsure of the process, take a moment to watch our video overview.
