Make Your iPhone 5 Operate Like A Real Camera By Winning A Copy Of ProCam
October 29, 2012
AppAdvice has teamed up with Samer Azzam, our latest AppAdvice Daily podcast sponsor, in order to offer you a chance to win ProCam ($0.99) for iPhone and iPod touch.
ProCam is a powerful photography app that was designed to look and operate just like a real digital camera.
The app features a rotatable dial that provides you with instant access to its seven different shooting modes: single shot, anti-shake, burst, self-timer, interval, face detection, big button, and video. You’ll also find a zoom knob conveniently attached to the dial. The app’s interface instantly adapts to your iPhone’s orientation, so no matter which way you prefer shooting, all of the controls will be within reach.
A small, unobtrusive status bar is located at the top of the screen, which displays all of your selected settings along with your battery status. You’re able to activate and change ProCam’s many different camera settings, like aspect ratio, image resolution, and alignment grids, via a button tucked away in the lower left corner of the screen. Unless you're using an iPhone 5 or new iPod touch, that is.
ProCam was recently updated to take full advantage of all that extra screen real estate, providing you with quick access to the app's many settings via a new toolbar. It also now sports improved low light performance, Facebook and Twitter sharing, real-time video stabilization, and a disk space counter in video mode.
ProCam includes a bunch of other great features as well, like the ability to utilize your iPhone’s volume buttons to snap photos and activate its LED, face detection auto-snap, geo-tagging, and a secondary theme.
