Win A $10 iTunes Gift Card To Unlock Pieces Of History In BiblioBoard

October 1, 2012
AppAdvice has teamed up with BiblioLabs, our latest AppAdvice Daily podcast sponsor, in order to offer you a chance to win one of six $10 iTunes Gift Cards. The gift cards can be used to unlock the anthology of your choice within BiblioLabs' free reference app, BiblioBoard. BiblioBoard brings pieces of history right to your iPad. The app provides you with access to more than 100 anthologies, which explore places, events, people, and themes from across the centuries. Each anthology includes around 75 piece of unique content that can be explored with just the tip of your finger. Content generally consists of books, images, videos, audio files, articles, and other historical documents, allowing you to cover all facets of a topic. Everything is broken down categorically as well, so you won't have any trouble finding exactly what you're looking for. When viewing content, you're able to zoom using the usual pinch and pull gestures. All content can be zoomed in on and viewed in full screen mode, including books. You're also able to turn the pages of your digital books my swiping, and jump ahead via a slider at the bottom of the screen. Content can be stored in favorites for quick reference later on, saved to your bookshelf for offline viewing, and shared via Twitter, Facebook, or email. BiblioBoard comes pre-loaded with three anthologies from the British Library in order to give you a taste of what to expect. The three included anthologies are: High Seas Adventures: A Historical Collection of Maritime Life, Castles: An Anthology, and Trains: The History and Pleasures of Railroading. New anthologies are available via in-app purchase, with prices ranging from $5.99 to $9.99 based on the amount of included content. To have a chance at winning one of our six $10 iTunes Gift Cards, just leave a comment below before 11:59 p.m. PDT tomorrow (October 2) telling us which of the 100 anthologies you'd unlock. You can view the entire list of BiblioBoard anthologies by either downloading the free app or heading to BiblioLabs' site. Winners will be chosen randomly and contacted via email. Only one entry per person is allowed. This giveaway is only open to our readers with U.S. iTunes accounts.
