Defend Your Kingdom In Wars Online For A Chance To Win A $10 iTunes Gift Card
November 16, 2012
AppAdvice has teamed up with Mobe Labb, our latest AppAdvice Daily podcast sponsor, in order to offer you a chance to win a $10 iTunes Gift Card. The gift card can be used to purchase coin packs in Mobe Labb's new castle defense game for iPhone and iPad, Wars Online, so you can upgrade your forces even faster.
In Wars Online, you get to command your very own medieval army. The goal is to try to overrun your enemy's forces by strategically deploying units before they are able to do the same to you.
You're able to send units like foot soldiers, cavalry, and archers into battle just by tapping the icons at the bottom of the screen. You don't want to just randomly tap away, however, as each unit is more effective against some than others. Not only that, you have a limited supply of gold to work with, so you must use it wisely.
Fallen enemies will drop gold pieces of different values, which can be used to unlock more powerful units like airships and battering rams or upgrade your existing units. You can also save up your gold to build up your castle's defenses or equip it with powerful cannons that you're able to directly control and aid your army.
Wars Online includes a single player campaign mode that spans 30 levels. It also includes online multiplayer via Game Center, so you can duke it out with your friends in head-to-head matches. All of your coins, units, and upgrades transfer between modes, which means you can hone your craft in campaign mode and then test your skills online without missing a beat.
To have a chance at winning one of our three $10 iTunes Gift Cards, simply leave a comment below before 11:59 p.m. PST tonight (November 16) telling us if you plan to play as the good or evil forces in Wars Online. Don't worry, you can answer honestly. We won't judge you.
Winners will be chosen randomly and contacted via email. Only one entry per person is allowed. This giveaway is only open to our readers with U.S. iTunes accounts.
