Handmade Highlights: Great iPad Mini Gift Options For The Holidays

I’ve already covered some fantastic iPad mini cases in a past Handmade Highlights post, but there are so many options out there that I thought I’d revisit the mini this week.
I know that it’s a hot ticket item this year, and many of you will be giving or receiving one of Apple’s miniature tablets during the holiday season. Whether you gift a mini or get a mini, you’ll want an awesome case to go with it, and I’ve got the perfect handmade options.
I think this personalized envelope case would be a good choice for a mini that you plan on gifting. It’s simple, it looks like a real envelope, and it can be customized with personal details. It also won’t break the bank, at only $29.
The iPad mini is the perfect size to be used as an e-book reader, and hedgehogs are pretty awesome, so this eReader Cover that combines a book style case with a super cute hedgehog fabric is a winner. The best part? It’s just $32. Not into hedgehogs? Don’t worry, the seller offers plenty of other options.
Looking for something a bit more gender neutral? This simple iPad mini Wool Felt Sleeve Envelope uses thick wool to keep your iPad protected, and it comes in a great gray color. It has a snap and a front pocket for storage, with a price tag of $32. The seller, PinsnNeedlesCases has a range of iPad felt mini cases in all different designs. Each one is simple and unique.
Finally, this Fellfische monster case isn’t designed specifically for the iPad mini, but I contacted the seller, who is planning to add iPad mini sleeves to the shop. They aren’t out yet, but you can request a custom case, which will run you about $47 for the toothless option and $51 for the monster with teeth. Aren’t they adorable?
