Whether you’re new to iOS, or just want to pick up some useful tips and tricks, we're here to help. This is iOS Advice.
Lock screen notifications are very handy as reminders for messages or emails that you may have missed, but sometimes they can get a little messy.
When I wake up in the morning, I have an entire lock screen full of notifications. While they can be helpful, I can’t stand all of the clutter. Luckily, it's possible to specify which notifications appear on the lock screen.
If you’d like to keep your lock screen clean, watch the video or follow the steps below:

Step 1: Go into the Settings app on your device and tap on Notifications.
Step 2: Next, tap on a row containing the app you’d like to remove from the lock screen. At the bottom of the screen, use the toggle switch next to “View in Lock Screen” to disable lock screen notifications.
Step 4: Continue this process for each app that you’d like to remove from your lock screen's notifications.
You can also hide lock screen notifications for specific email accounts. Tap on “Mail” in the Notifications list, then select an email account. Each account on your device has its own option to hide lock screen notifications. Check out the video above for a detailed overview.
