AT&T's 4G LTE Network Launches In More Markets Across US
December 3, 2012
It has been a busy few weeks for AT&T. Just weeks after pushing 4G LTE service to 24 additional markets, the second-largest wireless network in the U.S. has expanded service once again.
The company's faster network is now available in Albuquerque, N.M., Reading, Pa., and Salt Lake City, Utah. In addition, 4G LTE service has arrived in markets in Puerto Rico, including Yauco, San German -Cabo Rojo, and Guayama.
In November, AT&T's 4G LTE network launched in El Paso, Texas, Portland, Maine, and Pensacola, Fla., among other locations.
AT&T says that their 4G LTE network will cover 250 million people by the end of 2013. By the end of 2014, the carrier hopes to grow that number to 300 million.
