How To Make Siri Read And Reply To New Messages

Siri can be extremely helpful in many different situations. Most tasks on an iOS device can be accomplished hands-free using with the built in personal assistant. When Apple released iOS 6, Siri received a big update with quite a few useful features.
Today we’re taking a look at a classic hands-free tip that’s often overlooked. Did you know that Siri has the ability to read and reply to new text messages? It’s a great feature that’s available for all Siri supported iOS devices.

Step 1: When you receive a message, invoke Siri and ask her if you have any new messages.
Step 2: Next, Siri will respond to your question and list any new messages in the order that you’ve received them.
Step 3: When Siri is finished reading the new message, you will then have the ability to “Reply” or “Read it again.”
When you're prompted with Siri’s standard double beep, if you say “reply,” Siri will allow you to dictate a response. When you’re finished, you’ll have the option to send the message. This entire process can be accomplished 100 percent hands-free.
