Snap Spot: Holiday Gift Guide for iPhoneographers

Last week I shared some fantastic ways to turn your photos into holiday gifts, and this week, I’ve got a great list of items that are perfect for the iPhoneographer in your life.
There are several options for iPhone lenses, including sets like the olloclip and Photojojo’s set of magnetic lenses, but these Clip-on Cell Lenses, also from Photojojo, work with any iPhone, can be used with thin cases and come in three fun varieties: Polarizer, Kaleidoscope, and Fisheye. Each one is $20, but the set is a bargain at $45.
I shared several ways to print your Instagram photos last week, but Photojojo has another great new product: the Instabook. For $25, you can purchase this cute camera themed photo book, which comes with a photo credit. The credit allows for 10 Instagram photos to be professionally printed and sent to you to fill the book. This would make the perfect present because it comes with a gift certificate for your recipient to use her own photos, unlike the other options that I shared.
Taking pictures with your iPhone can be a perilous task, especially if you want to get shots over water, out windows, or in other locations where it is in danger of being dropped.
I know taking a photo near water always gets my pulse racing which is why I loved this iPhone Wrist Strap when I saw it. This strap screws into the bottom of your phone for an ultra sturdy grip while you’re out shooting photos, and the convenience of not having to put your phone away will mean you won’t miss any great shots. I think it’s a steal at just $35.
I reviewed the Holga iPhone lens case for the iPhone 4/4S, but now there’s also an iPhone 5 version of this case, available for $30. With this case, you have access to nine different toy cameras that can create a wide range of fun images.
All of these items are from my favorite photography-oriented store, Photojojo, which just opened up a new pop up retail store in San Francisco. It’s awesome, so make sure to stop by if you’re in the Bay Area.
Some of these items will also be reviewed in-depth on Snap Spot, so make sure to check back if you want to find out more before making a purchase. And if you want more Snap Spot right now, make sure to check out my archives.
