This Jailbreak Tweak Allows You To Customize The Volume HUD With Gestures And Labels

December 11, 2012
There’s nothing special about the volume HUD on an iOS device. When you adjust the volume, a graphic appears on the screen for visual reference. HUD Pro is a new jailbreak tweak that adds a little more functionality to your device's volume display. This tweak allows you to add titles and subtitles to the volume HUD using custom text or things like the date, time, battery life, and Wi-Fi network name. My favorite part about this tweak is the ability to add custom gestures to the HUD. You can set up a gesture to tap on the volume HUD with one or two fingers to help perform various tasks like creating new messages or emails. All of the customization options can be adjusted from within the Settings app. While HUD Pro doesn't offer anything spectacular, it does add a few new ways to customize your jailbroken device. Check out our video overview below to see the jailbreak tweak in action. HUD Pro is available in the Cydia Store (via the ZodTTD & MacCiti repository) for $1.50. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M5FzSMP5rbY
