We’re big fans of SwitchEasy at AppAdvice, and we’ve reviewed several of the company’s cases in the past. This year, at CES 2013, SwitchEasy demonstrated the FreeRunner Case for the iPhone 5.
AppAdvice’s Dom Esposito stopped by the booth to get a hands-on look at the case. Click here if you can’t see the video.

The SwitchEasy FreeRunner is designed to be ultra protective, with three case layers made from polycarbonate and TPV rubber. The FreeRunner isn’t your typical rugged case, however, as it is designed for city life. It isn’t waterproof and it may not offer the military grade protection of the Otterbox, but it does distinguish itself with impressive style and a slim design.
SwitchEasy’s FreeRunner comes equipped with a shock absorbing polycarbonate front cover, which will protect the iPhone’s glass screen from both scratches and drops, while still being usable. All of SwitchEasy’s cases also ship with a stick-on screen protector and back protector, to keep the ultra sensitive iPhone 5 safe from scratches.
The FreeRunner has an attractive polka dot design and comes in a range of fun colors. Want to know the best part? It’s just $34.99, which is a lot cheaper than the big, bulky protective cases from other companies.
You can order your own FreeRunner case from the SwitchEasy website, and because SwitchEasy ships every four hours, you’re guaranteed to get it quickly.
