How To Search Through Your Email With Siri

Whether you’re new to iOS, or just want to pick up some useful tips and tricks, we're here to help. This is iOS Advice. Sometimes searching through your email can be a hassle. Using the search bar within the Mail app is great, but there’s a much easier way if you have a Siri-compatible device. That’s right, you can use Siri to search through your email. It’s probably one of the easiest way to find messages in all of your email accounts. Step 1: If you’re looking for email from a specific day or month, you can say things like, “Search email from January 2013 for Dom.” Of course, you’ll need to insert your own word or phrase in place of “Dom.” Next, Siri will pull up a list of any messages that match your query. Step 2: If you’d like to search through all of your email, say things like, “Search email for party.” This will automatically pull up any email messages matching the word that you’ve requested.
