It Is A Boatload: Apple Is Awarded 26 New Patents

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has published a list of 26 newly granted Apple patents, according to Patently Apple.
The first relates to the capacitive multi-touch sensor panels that debuted with the original iPhone in 2007. These panels have rows and columns that form a rectilinear pattern.
The patent for the Magnifying Loupe covers context-sensitive “automated use of a magnification loupe to facilitate management and manipulation of user interface content and small user interface elements via gestures on a touch-sensitive surface.”
Other patents published today include one for noise cancellation techniques that improve headset-based audio communications using a portable host device, and a design patent for iPad packaging.
