Clear Updated With Option To Switch Off Edge Swipes

Our favorite gesture-based list making app Clear was updated today, giving users the option to turn off “Edge Swipe” gestures.
As you may know, Clear uses swipe gestures to complete or delete tasks. Occasionally, swiping too near to the edge of the app in the wrong spot would activate the wrong option, inhibiting the completion of tasks.
Edge swiping is actually a built in feature designed to allow quick switching between lists, but for many users, it was more of a hinderance than a help.
As of today, there’s a new Edge Swipe option that can be found in the settings menu, which will turn off edge swipe functionality. While turning off the setting means it will take more gestures to switch between lists, it will also prevent erroneous list switching.
The 1.2.1 Clear update includes some minor iCloud tweaks. Clear can be downloaded from the App Store for $1.99.
