I wouldn’t say the Mail app is the best one available for managing email, but it’s a stock app and definitely gets the job done. The only issue I've ever experienced is when I accidentally delete an email. This happens because, in my opinion, the archive, trash, and reply buttons are too close together. Luckily, there’s a native solution to this problem.

Step 1: Launch the Settings app, then tap on “Mail, Contacts, Calendars.” Step 2: Next, under the “Mail” section, located the row labeled “Ask Before Deleting” and enable the toggle switch. The next time you accidentally tap on the trash button, a dialog box will appear and require your confirmation to delete the email.
