Whether you’re new to iOS, or just want to pick up some useful tips and tricks, we're here to help. This is iOS Advice. I wouldn’t say the Mail app is the best one available for managing email, but it’s a stock app and definitely gets the job done. The only issue I've ever experienced is when I accidentally delete an email. This happens because, in my opinion, the archive, trash, and reply buttons are too close together. Luckily, there’s a native solution to this problem. If you’d like to learn how to prevent accidental email deletion, watch the video or follow the steps below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6fM9zaCEIc
If you can't see the above video, please click this link.Step 1: Launch the Settings app, then tap on “Mail, Contacts, Calendars.” Step 2: Next, under the “Mail” section, located the row labeled “Ask Before Deleting” and enable the toggle switch. The next time you accidentally tap on the trash button, a dialog box will appear and require your confirmation to delete the email. Now that you’ve learned how to prevent accidental email deletion, if there’s something else you’d like to see on iOS Advice, please let us know. Send us an email with your question or comment and we might feature your suggestion in a future article. If you need a little more advice, check out our other helpful tutorials.
