Whether you’re new to iOS, or just want to pick up some useful tips and tricks, we're here to help. This is iOS Advice. I wouldn’t say the Mail app is the best one available for managing email, but it’s a stock app and definitely gets the job done. The only issue I've ever experienced is when I accidentally delete an email. This happens because, in my opinion, the archive, trash, and reply buttons are too close together. Luckily, there’s a native solution to this problem. If you’d like to learn how to prevent accidental email deletion, watch the video or follow the steps below: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6fM9zaCEIc

Step 1: Launch the Settings app, then tap on “Mail, Contacts, Calendars.” Step 2: Next, under the “Mail” section, located the row labeled “Ask Before Deleting” and enable the toggle switch. The next time you accidentally tap on the trash button, a dialog box will appear and require your confirmation to delete the email.
