ScreenFeeder Screensaver App For iOS Now Includes Facebook Support

February 28, 2013
The popular screensaver-like app ScreenFeeder has received an important update. The app now includes Facebook integration, bringing to six the number of services it supports. First released in April, the universal Screenfeeder app creates a slideshow of real-time posts from your social feeds. In addition to Facebook, the app supports Twitter, Foursquare, Instagram, Dribbble, and App.net. With Facebook, Screenfeeder displays status updates, likes, uploaded photos and videos, and shared links. Once feeds are assigned, the app displays them, one event per screen. You can also stream them to your television via AirPlay. Feed links open within the app. You can also read them via your mobile browser. Additionally, feeds are sharable through Mail, iMessage, Twitter, Facebook, Instapaper, or Pocket. Screenfeeder 1.5 also includes:
  • We added the App.net global stream.
  • We added the Dribbble popular or debut stream.
  • We improved accessibility.
The app is available in two versions. With Screenfeeder Free, users can only connect to one service. By contrast, the $3.99 Screenfeeder Classic comes with no such restrictions. For more information, see our original post from November.
