Users Will Be Able To Turn An iOS 6 Tethered Jailbreak Into An Untethered Jailbreak

If you’re one of the many with an A4 device running an iOS 6 tethered jailbreak, you’ll be able to convert it into an untethered one via Cydia very soon.
Users with a tethered iOS 6 jailbreak will have the option to install a debian package from Cydia to convert to an untethered jailbreak. Of course, it’s always best to jailbreak with a fresh install of iOS 6, but it’s not required if you're happy with the tweaks and layout of your device. If you do jailbreak on a fresh iOS 6 install, you can always restore your apps and tweaks after the process is finished.
This untethered option would only be convenient if you have a good amount of tweaks that you’d rather not reinstall on a fresh untethered iOS 6 jailbreak. Like I said, it’s probably better to restore to stock iOS 6.1 if you plan on having an untethered jailbreak on your A4 device, but it’s really up to you.
Be sure to stay tuned for our jailbreak coverage and video tutorial once the Evasi0n tool is officially released.
