Your Move Apple As Samsung Is Set To Announce Galaxy S IV On March 14
February 25, 2013
Samsung is sending out invitations to their next media event. Scheduled for March 14, this will be the event that officially launches the Galaxy S IV.
The invitation, which we’ve included here, includes the headlines, “Ready 4 The Show,” and “Come and Meet the Next Galaxy.”
In 2012, the Samsung Galaxy S III overtook the iPhone 4S in quarterly sales prior to the launch of the iPhone 5 in September. By the end of the year, however, both the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5 saw sales pass the Galaxy S III.
According to AppleInsider, Samsung’s next flagship smartphone is expected to feature an eight-core Exynox processor with a separate eight-core graphics processor. In addition, the device is expected to feature a 4.99-inch SuperAMOLED display, 2 GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel forward camera, and Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Obviously, once Samsung announces the Galaxy S IV, attention will turn to Apple to see what they have planned for 2013. The so-called iPhone 5S is expected to launch in June.
