Apple Releases iOS 6.1.3 To The Public With Lock Screen Bug Fix

Apple has just released iOS 6.1.3. This update is available via OTA on iOS devices and will soon make its way to iTunes. According to the release notes, this update includes a security fix for a lock screen bug and also addresses issues with Apple Maps for Japan. We'll let you know if we spot any new features. This update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:
  • Fixes a bug that could allow someone to bypass the passcode and access the Phone app
  • Improvements to Maps in Japan
It’s important to note that if you’re jailbroken, you may want to stay away from this update. When iOS 6.1.3 beta 2 was released, it was discovered that Apple had patched one or more of the vulnerabilities used in the Evasi0n jailbreak.
