Rovio And DreamWorks Launching Fowl Free The Croods Game March 14
March 1, 2013
Do you love Rovio because of what they do, but have grown tired of the Angry Birds franchise? You’re in luck as Rovio is set to launch a new game on March 14 that has absolutely nothing to do with fowl.
The Croods is a joint venture between Rovio and DreamWorks Animation SKG. It will launch as a companion game for the upcoming motion picture, “The Croods.” The game and movie take you back to the Croodaceous period where food was scarce, and finding it is a family affair.
Take at look at this preview clip of the game:
According to Petri Järvilehto, EVP of Games at Rovio Entertainment:
DreamWorks Animation’s The Croods is filled with wonderful characters and creatures in an incredibly detailed, inventive world -- it was just begging for its very own mobile game! It's been an incredible experience having our two teams working closely together on extending the story to mobile platforms.”“The Croods” hits theaters on Thursday, March 22. We will let you know what we think of The Croods when it launches on the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad.
