Cydia Tweak: Control Your Music From The Home Screen With MusicWidget

Apple will soon be announcing iOS 7, and with that, I hope to see some exciting and innovative features. This new Cydia tweak is great example of the type of stuff I’d love to have in iOS 7.
MusicWdiget allows you to double tap the Music icon and pull up a very native-like interface for controlling your tunes. The interface is very similar to how a folder would open on the home screen, but this folder has special controls inside.

Lately, I’ve been very impressed with the functionality and style of tweaks being released in Cydia. In my opinion, Cydia developers have been doing a lot more innovating than Apple when it comes to iOS. Let’s hope Apple is inspired by some of the Cydia tweaks we’ve seen so far this year. Overall, MusicWidget is a handy tweak that may be useful if you listen to a lot of music. It's important to note that this tweak is only compatible with iOS 6 on iPhone or iPod touch. Currently, MusicWidget is available in the BigBoss repository for free. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments.
