Auxo is an excellent app switcher replacement for iPhone and iPod touch that was release in late 2012. The tweak’s popularity continuously grew, and eventually, the developer’s decided to bring it to iPad.
Auxo completely redefines the app switcher combining style and functionality. If you’ve never used Auxo, I recommend you check out our full walk-through of this amazing tweak.

In short, Auxo doesn’t clutter your iPad with features, but it enhances the overall experience. As shown in the video above, Auxo adds a customizable set of toggles, refined music controls, and a better way to manage apps that are running on your device. Double press the home button to pull up Auxo and swipe to the right to take advantage of its music controls. Another right swipe will bring up a set of system toggles which can be customized and rearranged. Even though it isn’t packed full of features, Auxo focuses on making the app switcher better. Each app can be closed by swiping down on its screenshot within the app switcher and all apps can be closed by long pressing on a single screenshot. Within the Settings app, you’ll find options to customize Auxo’s functionality and toggles. Overall, I think Auxo for iPad is a great tweak. It’s a beautiful app switcher replacement for iOS and really works great on iPad. I highly recommend this tweak if you’re looking to liven up your iOS experience. For an overview of Auxo, watch our video above. Currently, Auxo is available in the BigBoss repository for $1.99. If you already own Auxo for iPhone, you can pick up this version for only $0.99.
