Hands-On iOS 7: How To Change Siri’s Voice From Female To Male

Along with Siri’s improved speaking abilities, Apple added a new feature in iOS 7 for our favorite personal assistant. You now have the ability to make Siri a man. That’s right, you have the option to choose between a high quality male or female voice.
Currently in iOS 6, certain regions already have a male voice. In fact, you can change the region within Siri’s settings and get a different tone/gender for almost every region. New in iOS 7, Siri now has gender options. Each gender's voice is complete with the same high quality speech characteristics that Apple introduced at the WWDC 2013 keynote.
You won’t have to listen to any more robotic Siri voices in iOS 7. The best part is, you have the freedom of choice. If you prefer a male voice for Siri, that’s an option without messing with your region settings.
Here’s a brief tutorial on how to change Siri’s voice in iOS 7:

Siri’s gender can be changed by going into the Settings app and tapping on “General.” Next, tap “Siri” within the General Settings list and choose “Voice Gender.” Here you’ll be able to select a male or female voice. It’s not a major feature update, but I think it’s always great to have more options to customize an iOS device.
