Skype users are now able to record short video clips and send them directly to contacts. This feature was first introduced on a limited basis earlier this year. However, this is the first time it has been made available on a global basis. Available via the iPhone/iPod touch, iPad, and Mac, Skype Video Messaging allows users to record, and share up to three minutes of video content per clip. Videos are downloadable when the recipient is online. The service is also available on Windows- and Android-based devices. Take a look: Recording a Skype Video Message is as follows:
Video messaging is completely free of charge. Clips can be received and viewed on any platform or device running Skype. Skype, Skype for iPad, and Skype for Mac are available now for download.
- First, tap the “video message” button.
- Next, tap the record button to capture your video message.
- You can record a message of up to three minutes, which can be previewed prior to sending. If you’d like to, you can delete and re-record until you are completely happy with it.
- When you are ready, simply click on the envelope icon to send your video message to the recipient.
