It's Amazing, As Entertainment Weekly App Now Offers Retina Display Support

July 11, 2013
Like a 1960s television show that seemed reluctant to move from black and white to color, the Entertainment Weekly Magazine app finally supports the Retina display of the iPad 3 and iPad 4. The update arrives just in time for the annual Comic-Con issue. Like the print version, Entertainment Weekly Magazine for iPad offers the latest in Hollywood news. Key sections include movies, television, music, and books. Retina display support arrives with the July 19 issue, which launches today, July 11. The current issue features stories about Comic-Con 2013, plus offers an exclusive look at “The Amazing Spider-Man 2,” which launches in theaters in April 2014. Content from Entertainment Weekly Magazine for iPad is free to current print subscribers. In addition, iPad users can purchase a monthly subscription within the app for $2.99. A yearly subscription is available for $24.99. New features include:
