Pocket Now Includes Plenty Of New Features For iOS 7

September 18, 2013
Pocket has received a new update to coincide with the launch of Apple’s iOS 7. The “save for later” app includes new features, a slight design tweak, and more. Created by Idea Shower, Pocket now includes the ability to save an item to the service, and have it pushed to the device using Apple’s new background notification feature in iOS 7. The Instant Sync feature guarantees that your Pocket will always be up to date. Best of all, everything is automatically performed behind the scenes. The latest version of Pocket also includes faster list scrolling, searching, and tagging, plus an updated article view. Other new features include:
  • Refined layout and typography
  • Auto full screen article view
  • Automatic adjustments
  • New justified text with real hyphenation
We haven’t been able to find any significant design changes in Pocket in this release, except for the new app icon. Whatever changes have been made are being called “subtle refreshes” by the developer. The universal Pocket app is available for download in the App Store.
