iPhone:

Measures - Unit and Currency Converter ($1.99 → Free, 3.8 MB): Quickly convert between hundreds of units and currencies with this easy to use utility app.

All you have to do is enter a value to convert. Then just spin the dials at the bottom of the screen to choose a category and the units you want to convert between. Your conversions can be copied, pasted, or shared, and quickly swapped and cleared. The app also includes four programmable favorite buttons, a built-in calculator, the ability to enable or disable units, landscape support, and more than 1000 units to choose from. Universal:

Video 2 Photo - extract still pictures from movies ($1.99 → Free, 10.0 MB): Extract photos from your videos with this slick photography app.

You're able to import videos from your library or capture new ones in app. Drag the slider at the bottom of the screen to find the exact frame you want, and then tap on it to extract it. You can also slide the video frames up and down to go through them one by one. Extracted photos can be cropped if necessary, and shared via Twitter, Facebook, email, or iTunes File Sharing. Video 2 Photo - extract still pictures from movies is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 625 ratings.

Bouncy! Trampoline ($0.99 → Free, 31.5 MB): Help Bouncy, a trampoline-loving rabbit, learn new tricks and string them together in this casual arcade game.

You're able to control Bouncy via touch or swipe controls. Time his bounces to catch huge air, and try to string together tricks to earn combo points. If you fail to get Bouncy back to his feet, he'll have to start all over again. The game includes three modes, 36 levels, loads of unlockable content, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center. Bouncy! Trampoline is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 65 ratings.

Idea Store ($2.99 → Free, 5.0 MB): A place for all of your ideas.

You're able to quickly save your ideas with no distractions, and then come back and build on them. Your ideas can be flagged for quick access later on and grouped to keep things tidy. You're also able to sort your ideas by the day the were added or by the day they were updated. The app includes passcode protection, iTunes File Sharing support, search, and the ability to share ideas via Dropbox, Twitter, Facebook, or email. Idea Store is available for free today only (10/02). It has a 4-star rating with a total of 50 ratings.

Cineverse ($1.99 → Free, 8.4 MB): This video and animation creation app will make you completely forget about using Vine and Instagram.

You're able to record video just by holding your finger on the screen, allowing you to create different cuts just as you would with Vine and similar apps. You can then add images from your library, text, or even draw over the top of your video. Anything you add to the video can be animated by generating a path for it to follow. Once your work of art is finished, upload it for all of the Cineverse community to see or share it via Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube. The app also includes the ability to connect with friends, loads of paint and color options, and iCloud support. Cineverse is available for free today only (10/02). It has a 4-star rating with a total of 11 ratings.

iPad:

appoLearning ($4.99 → Free, 18.3 MB): Find the best educational apps for kids and high school-aged students with appoLearning.

The app is broken down into four main categories: early childhood, elementary school, middle school, and high school. Just tap on a category and choose a subject. You'll then be presented with the five highest rated apps, which have been evaluated and reviewed by a team of more than 65 educational and app experts. You can view even more detailed information about each app by tapping on them. The app also includes daily articles and personal profiles for each of the experts. appoLearning is available for free today only (10/02). It has a 5-star rating with a total of 27 ratings.

Robotanika ($2.99 → Free, 131.8 MB): Help Peaches defend her planet from the seemingly endless army of rampaging Robits in this frantic arcade shooter.

Man the turret and wipe out all of the Robits in your view by unleashing powerful attacks. You're able to aim your turret by dragging your finger across the slider at the bottom of the screen, and deploy power-ups just by tapping on them. Upgrade your weapons between waves to ensure survival. The game includes two modes, 100 waves, 18 Robit units, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center. Robotanika is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 17 ratings.
