It successfully combines a slick gesture-driven calendar with weather data. Just tap on an event to view its details and see what the weather will be like. Weather for all of your events can be viewed up to 14 days out. Pull down on the menu bar to get a peek at the calendar, and swipe left and right to change the month. The app includes support for front- and back-facing cameras, a listening mode to snap photos with sounds, a timer mode, all kinds of overlays, the ability to share videos via Facebook or Twitter, and numerous editing options. Colors Memory Match! Color Learning Game for Kids ($3.99 → Free, 22.3 MB): Your little one can learn to identify colors and shapes with this memory matching game.

Various amounts of cards will appear on the screen face down. Your child can tap on them to reveal what's on the flip side. They must then find all of the matching pairs of colors and shapes to complete each game. When tapped on, your child is able to hear the color or object pronounced. While recording a clip, you're able to see the audio level and how large your file will be in real time. You can also pause recording at any time and pick right back up where you left off. When you're finished recording, you can go back and trim down the audio, add a label, mark it as played, or share it via email, AirDrop, Messages, or iTunes File Sharing. The app also includes the ability to change playback speed, Bluetooth audio support, sorting, the ability to import recordings, headphone control, and the ability to duplicate recordings. You Record is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 6 ratings.
