November 1, 2013

Grab on tight and don’t let go as Ratty races to collect his cheese in Donut Games’ arcade game, Rat On A Jet Ski. We also have a music player for iPad featuring a built-in visualizer, and an app that allows you to tap away on your iDevice’s screen to create funky beats.

All app prices are subject to change at any time and without notice regardless of stated free duration. Price changes are solely under the control of the developers.

iPhone:

Look — photo-based todo app ($0.99 → Free, 480.2 KB): Forget the words and manage your tasks with photos with Look.

When you have a task that needs to be completed, just snap a photo of it. You can then create a due date and a short note if absolutely necessary. Every time you access a task, you’ll see the photo you have taken first and then all of your details. Tasks can be marked as complete, edited, and shared. Look also includes the ability to create lists, have the camera launch immediately, and automatically delete old completed tasks. All of Look’s additional features can be toggled on and off through your iDevice’s Settings app, and not through Look itself. Look — photo-based todo app is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 9 ratings.

The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic Reloaded ($0.99 → Free, 166.1 MB): Everyone’s favorite dessert is back and better than ever in this “Reloaded” version of The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic.

Like the original, your main objective is to help a little pudding named J. Jitters escape a haunted house by navigating tricky labyrinths. You’re able to manipulate the tracks he’s riding on by dragging pieces into place, and position different objects and weapons to help him safely reach the exit. This all-new version includes five 3-D worlds to explore, more than 60 levels, multiple objectives in each level, and achievements via Game Center. The Great Jitters: Pudding Panic Reloaded is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 31 ratings.

Word problems mode features a total of 10 questions, and you can choose the difficulty level or you can allow the app to adapt automatically. The app also includes child-friendly characters and graphics, narration, and score history. Tick Tock Clock - Learn How to Tell Time Using Digital and Analog Clock with Roman and Arabic Numerals is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 18 ratings.

Grab on tight with both hands and don’t let go as Ratty speeds across the water littered with obstacles. Tap once to cause Ratty to jump into the air, and tap twice and keep your finger on the screen to activate his propeller helmet and glide. A third tap will cause Ratty to do a somersault and earn you an extra point, but only perform this death-defying trick when everything’s clear. Try to grab as many stars and cheese slices as you can to earn a high score. The game includes four modes, 50 levels, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center. Rat On A Jet Ski is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 296 ratings.
