We’re Giving Away Free Copies Of Parallels Access And Parallels Desktop For Mac

December 3, 2013
Back in August, we introduced our readers to Parallels Access, which is described as an “applifying” experience for anyone who needs to access computer applications on the tablet. This week, we’re giving away a one-year subscription to Parallels Access. One AppAdvice reader will also receive a free copy of Parallels Desktop 9 for Mac. Parallels Access allows iPad users to run any Windows or Mac application as if it were created for their tablet. In doing so, users can use gestures such as tap, swipe, pinch, and scroll. Best of all, Parallels Access can handle a variety of tasks at the same time, including work-related programs, streaming video, and games. Take a look: http://youtu.be/ul-QjJ5hBFE Parallels Access is a free download in the App Store. It works in conjunction with the free Parallels Access Agent for Mac and PC. After a 14-day free trial, the product costs $79.99 for a year of service. With Parallels Desktop for Mac, users can seamlessly run both Windows and Mac OS X applications side-by-side without rebooting. Version 9 supports two new OS X Mavericks features: multiple displays and Finder tabs. It also offers full Windows Blue (8.1) support. Parallels Desktop for Mac is currently being offered for $69.99, or $49.99 for previous Parallels Desktop users. This includes a 6-month subscription to Parallels Access. There is also a 14-day trial available for this application. AppAdvice will be giving away one promo code for each product listed. If you would like to receive a code, let us know using the comments below. You can only win one of the two codes, so please tell us the application you would like to receive. Winners will be contacted via email on Monday, Dec. 9. Note: Submissions will be accepted until Sunday, Dec. 8 at 10 p.m. PST. In the meantime, you can begin your Parallels Access and/or Parallel Desktop for Mac trials here.
