Alarmy ($1.99) for iPhone and iPod touch may be annoying, but it sure is effective! In order to disable its alarm, you must physically get your butt out of bed and go take a picture of the place you've registered, basically guaranteeing you won't be dozing back off to sleep.
Disabling Alarmy's alarms may be tedious, but creating them is super simple. You're able to create separate alarms for weekdays and weekends. When creating an alarm, you can choose to have it only repeat on specific days. You're also able to choose from seven built-in sounds or a song from your library.
Then find a place in your home that you believe will effectively keep you from heading back to bed and snap a picture of it. When your alarm sounds, you will have to return to that spot and snap another picture of it to disable the alarm. Alarmy analyzes the picture to ensure you're not cheating, and you can customize its accuracy to make things easier or more difficult.
Alarmy doesn't require you to utilize its unique picture alarm system, which is nice for those weekends where you might not be feeling nearly as motivated. You can instead choose to shake your iDevice to disable your alarm, and even set different snooze durations.
Alarmy also includes four color themes to choose from, a full screen mode, an earphone mode, and alarm history.
