Evomail+ For iOS 7 Launches With A New Look And More Features

January 14, 2014
One of the most popular third-party email clients for iOS has been completely redesigned. Evomail+ is available now on the iPhone/iPod touch. Evomail+ is a brand new app, and replaces the aptly named Evomail, which arrived on the scene in April 2013. This version has been built specifically for iOS 7, and includes a number of new features, including background syncing, external keyboard support, dynamic text, and more. According to Dominic Flask, Evomail’s co-founder and chief designer:
With the re-design of Evomail+ we focused on streamlining the user's experience by creating the single blue button, which adapts to contextually fit within its environment allowing for faster navigation of your inbox and messages. To complement the streamlined UX we updated to a brighter, more versatile color palette while increasing the overall contrast of the app to add clarity to the hierarchy of your messages while making it easier to read or skim them.
Take a look: http://vimeo.com/81722673 I’ve been using a prerelease version of Evomail+, and have been left impressed. In fact, it has made me forget about Apple’s own mail client for iOS. Christine Chan’s review of Evomail+ is being published later today. In the meantime, you can download the free app by clicking here.
