Injustice: Gods Among Us Celebrates A Huge Milestone, Offering Free Power Credits
January 30, 2014
Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have announced some big news concerning the popular freemium game Injustice: Gods Among Us. There have now been 1 billion play sessions since the game first launched in April 2013. To celebrate this milestone, those who play the game from today through the weekend will receive 30,000 free power credits.
Created for the iPhone/iPod touch and iPad by NetherRealm Studios, Injustice: Gods Among Us features a collectible card mechanic and engages players in 3-on-3 tag team combat. It features many of DC Comics’ most popular characters, including Batman, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Aquaman, and many more.
Injustice: Gods Among Us was last updated in November, when it introduced a couple of new skins inspired by the film “Man of Steel,” which was released last June. One of these skins is, of course, based on the Man of Steel himself, Superman. And the other is based on his Kryptonian archenemy, General Zod.
The universal game is available to download in the App Store. You can receive your free credits until Sunday, Feb. 2.
