TAPPD Makes App Discovery A More Personal Experience

TAPPD Makes App Discovery A More Personal Experience

March 25, 2014
Australian mobile start-up Burst2life has announced the release of its new app for the iPhone/iPod touch. The free TAPPD app is designed to help users find what’s hot, what’s trending, and the apps your friends are talking about right now. The result is an interesting new way to discover apps on the App Store. From lifestyle apps, to music and games, users can see the apps friends and personal influencers are talking about the most. With the tap of one button, “TAPP & TELL” makes it easy for mobile users to share what they think about any app. According to Tony Coiro, TAPPD co-founder:
We hold what friends say in high regard when looking for apps. We developed TAPPD with this in mind, and created a place to capture and share everyday conversations on the apps friends love talking about.
Features:
  • Discover what's trending and the latest being shared on TAPPD
  • Personalize your feed by following friends and people with shared interests
  • Super simple search: Search by location, #hashtags, or app names
  • Share the apps you’re into and see suggested apps from people with shared interests
  • Save time by seeing what real people are saying before downloading any app
  • Daily TAPP: We’re finding the best apps out there and bringing them straight to you
I've been using TAPPD for a few weeks now, and think it shows great promise. Hopefully, an iPad version is coming soon. The free TAPPD app is available by following this link.
