Ravensburger Puzzle is the ultimate jigsaw puzzle app for iPad. It allows you to build big, beautiful jigsaw puzzles no matter where you are.
The app comes with six puzzles to choose from. You're able to cut the puzzles up into anywhere from 20 to 500 pieces, depending on how seasoned of a builder you are. The pieces will be randomly scattered all over the screen, and you're able to move and rotate them with common gestures. Pieces that fit will make a satisfying snapping sound to confirm their matches. If you find a piece that you want to save for later, just drag it into the drop-bar tray for safe keeping. You're also able to use the original image as a reference and even place it behind your pieces.
As you work your way through the pieces, you're able to see your progress as a percentage in the top left corner of the screen along with how much time you've spent putting your puzzle together. Of course, you don't have to finish your puzzle all in one sitting, as the app will save your progress for as many puzzles as you have going.
At some point you're going to finish all of the included puzzles, but don't worry, there are loads more available via the built-in library! Additional puzzles will cost you in-app currency, but Ravensburger Puzzle starts you off with a good helping in order to allow you to get a taste of what else is available. New puzzles can be searched for by release date or category.
Ravensburger Puzzle also includes three tutorials to help you get the hang of the process, relaxing background music, eight table themes to choose from, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.
